Highgate Group Practice Guidelines from 19/7/21

From Monday 19/7, please continue to wear a face covering, and maintain social distancing and hand washing when visiting our practice and other care settings. This includes any attendance to our practice and any hospital appointments. For further information in line with government and NHS guidelines, please see the NHS and Government Websites.

To protect our patients and staff, we are still delivering telephone routine appointments. Face to face appointments are only available more urgently – at the doctors discretion.

If you have a new persistent cough and/or fever and/or loss or change to your sense of smell or taste please DO NOT GO TO THE GP SURGERY . Use the NHS 111 online service at https://111.nhs.uk/covid-19 to find out what to do next.

In light of recent concerns surrounding COVID-19 the practice has made the decision to change all medical appointments to telephone appointments. Only patients who have been contacted by a clinician will be invited in and we request that you bring your own face covering/mask. All other queries will be dealt with by phone or email. This is a necessary precaution to reduce the risk to our patients. We thank you for your support and understanding in this matter.
